Complaints Policy

At Shockwave Volleyball, we believe that the first line of communication should always be between the coaches and the player unless of course the complaint is about the coach’s behaviour. Parents are of course welcome to be an observer in any meeting between the coaches and player. If the athlete isn’t satisfied with the meeting or resolution by the coach, then the parent can schedule a meeting with the coach as well, or if they feel necessary, escalate it to the club directors. We do have a 24 hour rule for all disputes so that there are no altercations at practice or at a tournament. This also gives all parties time to think about the issue in a more clear and calm manner. All complaints or disputes must be submitted in writing to one of the club directors who will respond within 24 hours to discuss the next steps.
